Ingredients
For the Dough (If Making from Scratch):
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (or 1 packet)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup warm milk (about 110°F)

- 1 large egg
- ½ tsp salt
For the Oreo Filling:
- 15 Oreo cookies, crushed into crumbs
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
For the Cream Cheese Glaze:
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk (adjust for consistency)
Optional Toppings:
- Extra crushed Oreo cookies for garnish
- Chocolate drizzle (melted chocolate or chocolate syrup)
- Caramel sauce for extra sweetness
- Whipped cream for a bakery-style finish
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough (Skip If Using Store-Bought)
- In a small bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and a pinch of sugar. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Add melted butter, egg, and yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
- Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.
Step 2: Make the Oreo Filling
- In a bowl, mix crushed Oreo cookies, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and cinnamon.
- Add softened butter and mix until combined.
Step 3: Assemble the Rolls
- Roll out dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle.
- Spread the Oreo filling evenly over the dough.
- Roll tightly into a log and slice into 10-12 rolls.
- Arrange rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
Step 4: Bake the Rolls
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour ¼ cup heavy cream over the rolls (optional but makes them extra soft).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 5: Make the Frosting & Serve
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
- Spread over warm rolls and top with crushed Oreo cookies.
